This book is packed with
information that, as it turns out, is just as fun for experienced massage
pros to read as it is for the general public. And yes, even I as the author
had a little trouble with the title at first and the whole concept of
books for "Dummies." Then gradually I realized that we are ALL dummies
in almost every subject in the world, and I stepped down off of my high
horse, descended from my ivory tower, and joined the masses. The book
is FUN. It has cartoons and jokes and sly humor throughout, which is a
lot different than most massage books which feature a hushed reverential
new-age tone in the text, and pages filled with too-good-to-be-true creamy-skinned
models. I say phooey on all that. Let's get real. To show you what I mean about getting real, here's a look at the table of contents for the book. As you'll notice, it's kind of tongue-in-cheek and nitty-gritty at the same time. So you can learn massage and ENJOY YOURSELF while reading it... Chapter One: Not Just
a Rub: How Massage Can Improve Your Life If you would like an autographed copy of Massage for Dummies, all you have to do is click on the book cover in the spa store and I'll send you one likity split. I'll even do special dedications to your cousin Bob in Minneapolis if you'd like. Of course, buying the book from me is more expensive than getting it from an online bookseller, but you get the John Hancock, and the personal touch. I charge the retail price of $21.99, plus $4 shipping and handling, more for overseas shipping. You can pay with check or credit card. And, by the way, thank you in advance for your support. |
